Travel by Ferry

UPDATED 03/05/18 – See bottom of article for ferry timetable

Arrive in style this Crabfest and take advantage of a special ferry service operated by the Rivermaid between Kingsbridge – Salcombe.  The Rivermaid will run at least two trips in each direction on Sunday 6th May with the final trip back to Kingsbridge departing Salcombe at lunchtime. The normal bus service will be available late afternoon for those wishing to spend more time at the festival.

Festival-goers might like to join Crabfest mascot Charlie the Crab on board the Rivermaid’s first departure from Kingsbridge at 9am. Charlie will take the Kingsbridge and District Light Railway before boarding the Rivermaid for Salcombe. Charlie will then head down to the Chef’s Demonstration Marquee at Creek Car Park for the festival opening with Matt Tebbutt at 10am.
