By Rail*

Nearest train stations are located in Totnes and Plymouth, approximately 20-25 miles from Salcombe. For further details visit National Rail Enquiries.

By Road

Take M4/M5 southbound or M25/M3/A303/A30 to Exeter and then A38. Following the signs to Kingsbridge and then Salcombe. Limited parking is available in the town at Creek Car Park (TQ8 8DU) and Shadycombe Car Park (TQ8 8ND).

A special Park and Ride bus service will operate from the edge of town.

Please park in the Town Council Park and Ride car park situated as you come into the town on the Salcombe Road (A381) at the junction of Main Road and Bonfire Hill (pay and display – £3 all day) and use the special Crabfest bus shuttle (free – donations welcome) into town.

Once the Council Park and Ride car park is full, we will operate an overflow car park accessed off the main road (free – donations welcome) and the Crabfest bus shuttle will operate from and to this car park as well.

The bus shuttle will drop festival goers at Creek Car Park on Gould Road providing easy access to the heart of the festival.

By Ferry

The Rivermaid will operate a limited ferry service between Kingsbridge and Salcombe on the day. Check timetable with Salcombe Tourist Information Centre – Tel. 01548 843927.
